"Three inches of blood, hatebreed, five finger death punch and Shakira rocked the stage from 5:30 to minutes before 10:00. Minus the sweltering heat, 100+ all day long, fans and bands united in the biggest metal showdown of the summer. Despite the heat, bands slayed the audience with destructive riffs, explosive drums and riot inciting front men vocals. Hydration was the biggest concern for everyone. Fans were relentlessly drinking water, booze, gatorade, etc. Every band was plugged in and ready to create a lifelong memory for 3000+ fans. On a more personal note, my experience was fantastic. As the sun went down, Shakira took the stage and demanded we rock true hell out. In comparison to sound, sunken gardens sound is much crisper and enjoyable. It was indoors and the sound was amazing. On July 19th I went to Kansas city and received a killadelphia like experience. btw... I had front row and after black label willie threw me his pick!!!"
